Lineage The HARP dataloggers are moored to the sea bottom and remain there for an extended period of time (e.g., 6 mos. to 1 yr.). Passive acoustic data are collected by a single omni-directional hydrophone and recorded on hard drives as (.hrp) . After the data loggers are retrieved the acoustic data are converted to .wav files.
