LANDFIRE 2020 Operational Roads AK
The LF 2020 Operational Roads product for Alaska (AK) is intended to support operations and firefighting. It includes all pixels from the four (4) roads classes from the NLCD 2019 Developed Imperviousness Descriptor (CONUS) product (https://www.mrlc.gov/data/nlcd-2019-developed-imperviousness-descriptor-conus . For Alaska, additional roads were added by buffering the HERE roads (Navstreet now HERE Map Data | GIS Data Provider | Navmart) by 15m and converting to raster. The Functional Class and Speed Category were used to crosswalk the HERE roads to match the four classes in the NLCD layer. Value 255 indicates NoData.
