Land status in the Colorado Plateau coal assessment study area - Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona (cplowng)
This data set portrays the land ownership polygon features
in the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Colorado Plateau coal
assessment study area (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and
Arizona). The data set was created by clipping a national
land ownership coverage of federal land polygon features
that had been extracted from the individual USGS
1:2,000,000-scale state boundary Digital Line Graph (DLG)
files and then paneled into a single coverage. The original
national coverage metadata document is included here and
modified slightly to indicate that the geographic areal
extent is that of portions of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and
Arizona.
