Kasegaluk Lagoon and Beaufort Sea Aerial Survey Data from 1977-06-05 to 1991-08-26 (NCEI Accession 9300001)

The Aerial Survey data in this accession was collected in Kasegaluk Lagoon and Beaufort Sea between January 1977 and December 1991. Observations were made regarding mammals and birds sighted during the surveys as well as amount of ice cover in the lagoon and open sea. Types of birds, their numbers and sexes were identified. Characteristics, location and extent of ice cover was noted. LGL Ltd. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada collected the data and it was submitted by Dr. Stephen R. Johnson, British Columbia, Canada to NODC.
