Island of Hawai‘i and Maui, bat diet insect DNA barcode reference library, 2016-2020
The data contains the sampling details, taxonomic identification, and associated genetic data information for 223 insect specimens used in building a genetic barcode reference library. Insects from the taxonomic orders Blattodea (e.g., cockroaches, termites), Coleoptera, Dermaptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Orthoptera, and Trichoptera collected from the Island of Hawai‘i and Maui.
The GenBank accession numbers identify DNA sequences produced from this study, deposited on the NIH-NLM-NCBI Genbank database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/). Accession numbers PX635380 through PX635646.
