Published by Unemployment Insurance | State of Iowa | Catalog Last Checked: August 01, 2026 at 06:12 AM | Dataset Last Updated: July 23, 2026 at 04:21 PM
The Replacement Rate is the ratio of the claimants' weekly benefit amount to the claimants' average weekly wage. This represents an estimate of the portion of normal wages replaced by Unemployment Insurance benefit payments. The calculations are based on sample data used for the Benefit Accuracy Measurement program. Data for 2020 through 2022 have not been included due to low sample numbers.
