These data describe aquatic macroinvertebrate drift downstream of tailwaters below large dams throughout the Colorado River Basin, collected in spring, summer, and fall 2015. Study sites include the tailwaters downstream of Fontenelle Dam (Wyoming) and Flaming Gorge Dam (Utah) on the Green River, Crystal Dam (Colorado) on the Gunnison River, Navajo Dam on the San Juan River (New Mexico), and Glen Canyon, Hoover, Davis, and Parker Dams on the Colorado River (Arizona, Nevada, California). The data also describe seasonal drift in Bright Angel Creek, a tributary of the Colorado River in Grand Canyon, Arizona, from 2015-2017.
