This data release contains tabular data and photographs from avian surveys of shorebird, predator birds, and other bird species in western Alaska between 1988 and 2012. The data package includes seven tables: 1) characteristics of bird survey sites, 2) habitat classification at survey sites, 3) detections of all birds at survey sites, 4) detections and behaviors of shorebirds and predator species (i.e., gulls, raptors, cranes, etc.) at survey sites, 5) bird taxonomy, 6) habitat classification definitions, and 6) survey site photographs pertaining to each point count location. Directional photographs are available for many point survey locations.
