HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, TEMPERATURE, SALINITY, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, and PARTICULATE CONCENTRATION AND SIZE DISTRIBUTION PROFILES collected in the Gulf of Mexico from 2015-09-20 to 2015-10-29 (NCEI Accession 0246171)

Fifty-five conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) casts made in mouth of Mobile Bay and its environs, 2015-09-20 to 2015-10-29. The field campaign was part of a long-standing effort to understand the nature of buoyant freshwater plumes in shallow micro-tidal environments. Data include profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, salinity, oxygen, pH, beam attentuation, beam transmission, and particulate concentration and size distribution; measurements were obtained with a Seabird SBE25 Sealogger, and a LASER In-Situ Scattering and Transmissometry 100-X (LISST). CTD profiles are provided in cnv format, while total suspended solids, particle concentration, and particle size distribution are provided in plain ASCII text.
