Hot Springs National Park FFI Fire Effects Monitoring Data
Fuels data for Hot Springs National Park. Fire effects monitoring data collected at Hot Springs National Park Hot Springs, AR. The data were collected during summer field seasons by the Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network and park technicians beginning in 2007. The HOSP FFI database exclusively contains fuels monitoring data from woodland plots and disturbance history data. Data were collected from 50 x 20 m plots using four standard Brown's lines per plot. The published protocol (Leis et. al. 2011) can be found on the HTLN websitehttp://science.nature.nps.gov/im/units/htln/library/Vegetation/PlantComm/PlantCom_2009_p.pdf.
