    • Harbison's dun skipper (Euphyes vestris harbisoni) single nucleotide polymorphism genotype data from southern California

    This dataset contains genotypes from 148 Harbison's dun skipper (Euphyes vestris harbisoni) collected in San Diego and Orange County, California (USA). Genomic markers were generated using the 2RAD restriction-associated DNA sequencing protocol, aligned to a reference genome of Euphyes dion (genome assembly GCA_018251475.1) and analyzed using Stacks v2.53. The genotypes for all samples are provided in a VCF file with 1335 independent loci. A companion file is provided with sample names and collection information. These files may be opened and edited in a text editor program, such as Notepad (PC). The .vcf file can be loaded into the Stacks population program to calculate genetic diversity statistics, or loaded into R, using vcfR for further analysis.
