Gravity data collected near Quitobaquito Spring in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, 2021

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Catalog Last Checked: August 01, 2026 at 04:23 AM | Dataset Last Updated: March 18, 2026 at 12:00 AM
The dataset consists of final gravity values and isostatic residuals of gravity anomalies. Gravity values were obtained from network adjustment of relative gravity and absolute gravity measurements. Corrections of gravity, including free-air correction, complete bouguer anomaly, and terrain corrections, were made to find the isostatic residual at each location. Gravity was collected at 123 stations and tied together with two absolute gravity base stations.
