Georectified mosaic of historical aerial photographs of the Colorado River in Palo Verde Valley, Arizona and California, acquired in 1930
This product is a georectified and tonally balanced mosaic of aerial photographs collected in 1930 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation along a portion of the floodplain of the Colorado River in Palo Verde Valley, Arizona and California. This dataset is available in both GeoTIFF and MrSID formats. The GeoTIFF image should be used when fidelity, spatial accuracy, and radiometric integrity are critical for analysis or decision-making. The MrSID image, while optimized for efficient display and reduced file size, may introduce compression artifacts and should be used primarily for visualization or applications where performance is prioritized over analytical precision.
