Bulk organic geochemical, major and trace element, and mineralogical measurements were made on samples of the Late Cretaceous Mancos Shale collected from the Blue Road outcrop off of South Millers Canyon Road/Blue Road approximately 3.5 miles south of U.S. Interstate 70 (Emery County, Utah). The data was collected as part of a regional evaluation of paleoenvironmental conditions during deposition of the Mancos Shale on the Colorado Plateau (San Raphael Uplift) to inform research into the Mancos petroleum system and depositional and climatic conditions in the Cretaceous Western Interior Seaway.
