Experimental manipulation of bait types to assess trapping efficacy of invasive black and white tegu lizards (Salvator merianae) in South Florida
These data represent two years of trapping effort for invasive black and white tegu lizards (Salvator merianae) in South Florida. Over the course of the two years, traps were deployed in the same locations, but the type of bait in the trap varied. Bait treatment types consisted of a single real chicken egg (traditionally used in the past), 3 real eggs, 3 fake wooden eggs, 2 fake wooden eggs and 1 real egg, or 1 fake egg and 1real egg.
