Environmental data were collected between 1956 and 1974 during various time periods at thirteen monitoring stations and by two steamships in the Pacific Ocean. Data collection includes date/time and position of collection, cloud cover, sea condition, wind direction, air temperature, sea temperature and surface salinity.
