| description | This data set includes maps of normalized LCOE all-in (Levelized Cost of Transmission [LCOT] inclusive) as calculated using NLR's Annual Technology Baseline (ATB) costs, both drilling and CAPEX/OPEX, and considering the best depth option (1-7 km) for each location across the contiguous United States. Two files best opened in GIS software are included of the suitability map with and without technical exclusions, respectively. Also, a .jpg version of the map is included which includes information about the determination of suitability in the "About the Data" section. Most favorable locations are those with low LCOE all-in values. |
