Published by data.ct.gov | State of Connecticut | Catalog Last Checked: May 04, 2026 at 02:19 PM | Dataset Last Updated: May 01, 2026
The Energy Storage Solutions program is an incentive program designed to help Eversource and United Illuminating customers install battery energy storage systems for their home or business. The program helps lower the cost of buying a battery by providing upfront and performance incentives. This incentive program is overseen by the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), is paid for by electric ratepayers, and is administered by the Connecticut Green Bank, Eversource, and UI. This dataset is an anonymized comprehensive listing of all approved projects supported by the ESS program. It contains information on system costs, sizes, participating contractors, and other details gathered during the incentive application process. More information and an interactive dashboard of this and other program data can be found at https://energystoragect.com/ess-performance-report/ For more information on the methodologies used to calculate various impact metrics, please visit https://www.ctgreenbank.com/strategy-impact/evaluations/
