This dataset includes hydrographic and chemical data collected from discrete samples and profile observations from United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Healy cruise HLY1702 (EXPOCODE 33HQ20170826) in the Bering and Chukchi Sea along transect lines in the Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) areas DB01, 03, 04, and 05 from 2017-08-26 to 2017-09-15. These data include water temperature, salinity, dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), dissolved oxygen, and nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate, and ammonium). The cruise was funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Arctic Research Program (ARP) and supported by numerous agencies and institutions including the National Science Foundation (NSF). The carbon data were collected at sea and run using equipment from the Ocean Acidification Research Center (OARC) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). Jessica Cross was funded by NOAA's Arctic Research Program and Natalie Monacci was funded by the Cooperative Institute for Alaska Research and the Alaska Ocean Observing System. The CTD operations on the cruise were managed by personnel from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Research Institute (WHOI). Dissolved Oxygen and nutrient data were collected by by personnel from the University of Washington Joint Institute for the Study of the Atmosphere (JISAO). Calvin Mordy was funded by the Ecosystems and Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) Program and NOAA's ARP. Phyllis Stabeno is co-Principal Investigator of the EcoFOCI program.
