This dataset consists of discrete profile measurements of DIC, alkalinity, temperature and salinity collected from R/V Antea French PIRATA cruise in Eastern Tropical Atlantic Ocean from 2009-07-10 to 2010-10-01. Seawater samples (500 mL) were taken in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic during the French PIRATA cruise for inorganic carbon and alkalinity analyses. The method is based on the potentiometric titration of Edmond (1970) with a closed cell. Certified Reference Material provided by Prof. A. Dickson is used for calibration.
