Dietary supplement label data
Dietary supplement label data- text and image- for populating the dietary supplement labels database. The database is hosted and maintained at the General Service Administration’s cloud.gov and can be viewed at https://dsld.od.nih.gov/
Only dietary supplements sold in the United States are purchased. Each product’s label text and corresponding label image are purchased in a uniform and consistent format in order to facilitate rapid importation into the database. Label text from each unique dietary supplement label is submitted in a consistent and organized format in basic electronic data files with accessible fields and consistent with the database data schema specified.
The data files are delivered for batch load via JSON format. The deliverables (label text and images) are submitted every month as a complete replacement of the previous version. Label image from each unique dietary supplement label is delivered in a consistent and organized format in a basic electronic PDF file with resolution suitable for Web display. Data are required to follow the defined DSLD Data Definitions, Business Rules, and Data Schema.
