This dataset provides details about the Guidelines for the Enforcement of Civil Immigration Law memorandum that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas issued on September 30, 2021, which instructs DHS immigration officers to prioritize apprehending and removing noncitizens considered to be threats to national security, public safety and border security. This dataset also details ICE reinstituting the application of the civil immigration and enforcement priorities (CIEP) memorandum and CIEP Arrest and detainer data.
