Excel file with estimates, rates, relative standard errors, trends and confidence intervals for all drug-related emergency department (ED) visits involving the nonmedical use of pharmaceuticals (prescription and over-the-counter medications and dietary supplements) for the Detroit metropolitan area, covering 2004-2011. Nonmedical use includes patients who took a higher than prescribed or recommended dose of their own medication, patients who took a pharmaceutical prescribed for another person, malicious poisoning of the patient by another individual, and documented substance abuse involving pharmaceuticals
