| description | This dataset holds modeled estimates of soil accretion for the Atchafalaya and Terrebonne basins in the Mississippi River Delta of coastal Louisiana, U.S. Soil accretion was predicted from 2021-2100 using the Numerical Understanding of Marsh Accretion Resilience (NUMAR) model. This process-based model is an adaptation of the NUMAN model that was modified for marsh environments. The input parameters were aggregated within ecogeomorphic cells, areas of similar vegetation and elevation. The dataset includes spatially explicit input values, description of important parameters, and a shapefile of model outputs. |
