DCLDE 2027 DAS Finwhale Localization
This dataset contains labeled Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) recordings of fin whale vocalizations collected from two synchronized parallel fiber-optic cables of the OOI cabled observatory off Pacific City, Oregon in November 2021. Data are labeled with time-of-arrival picks along each fiber, UTC timestamps, and ground-truth localization coordinates(Lat/Lon and UTM) for the localization challenge of the 2027 DCLDE workshop.
