Data release for velocity-independent dry friction on mica experiments

The six data sets are time series of six shear deformation runs of dry mica-on-mica friction at temperatures from 25 to 200 deg celsius. Results were reported and analyzed in the publication: 'Velocity-Independent Dry Friction on Mica: A Realization of Ideal Amontons-Coulomb Friction' by H. Sakuma et al. Experiments were performed at elevated pressure and temperature on an internally heated 'triaxial' deformation apparatus. Experiments measure temperature dependence of frictional sliding coefficient of cleaved mica sheets at 100 MPa normal stress. Both velocity-stepping and slide-hold-slide deformation sequences were performed.
