Results for "The Effects of Dynamic Soil Moisture-Dependent Parameters on Runoff and Crop Yield Estimation for the APEX Model" (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.agwat.2025.109612) are available in this dataset. In this study, dynamic parameters that could be adjusted depending on soil moisture levels were tested for the Agricultural Policy/Environmental Extender Model (APEX) model. The study took place for a collection of six 0.34 ha plots located in the Central Mississippi River Basin (CMRB) Long-Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) location in north-central Missouri. The study found that model performance for an objective function that included crop yield and runoff simulation could be improved with dynamic parameters in calibration and, to a lesser degree, in validation. Further information about the APEX model can be found at https://epicapex.tamu.edu/media/pkff4m34/the-apex1501-user-manual-november-2023.pdf.The following items are included in this data set:Results for the original 2000 calibration runs used in the study. Also included are results obtained with a bug fix related to APEX's monthly weather file (corrigendum to the original article, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.agwat.2026.110406).Calibration observations that include the runoff and crop yield data used for the study and associated metadata. The calibration program used in the study and instructions on how to use the program.Information on modifications to the APEX source code used in the study.
