A series of workshops were held in three Alaskan Native Villages, Aniak, Elim, and St. Mary’s in July 2024. These workshops focused on community observations of and concerns around weather and environmental changes. The workshop participants were community members in each of the respective communities. Participants were provided with an informed consent sheet that explained the risks and benefits of participation, including that the results of the project would be made public, though their identities would not be shared. This data release contains two files, one describing events observed by workshop participants and one describing the level of concern regarding those events and their impacts reported by workshop participants.
