Data for First Application of a Coastal Dune Model (AeoLiS) to Simulate Fluvial Aeolian Morphodynamics

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Catalog Last Checked: August 01, 2026 at 04:26 AM | Dataset Last Updated: July 28, 2026 at 12:00 AM
This data release contains all input files used to run the AeoLiS aeolian transport model in a dryland river corridor. The dataset includes grid files defining the model domain, elevation, nonerodible layer depth, and initial vegetation coverage, along with time‑series forcing files for wind and river stage. Parameter settings and process configurations are provided in a params.txt file consistent with AeoLiS documentation. These inputs allow for replication of the simulation described in Kelley and others (2026) and support reproducibility of the aeolian transport modeling workflow.
