This dataset includes data collected as part of CaBS (California Basin Study) from the Southern California Bight from 1985 to 1992, including current meter data from the Southern California Bight Current Meters Cross, Basin, Shelf/Transition 1 and 2, Internal Wave/Transition 3, and Flux deployments, ARGOS satellite-tracked drifter data from the Flux deployment, as well as CTD profiles from the 10 CaBS cruises aboard R/V Robert Gordon Sproul and R/V New Horizon. The data include sea surface temperature, water temperature, salinity, beam attenuation coefficient, currents, and other measurements.
