Court Remands and New Court Cases Filed
Longitudinal report detailing the numbers of court remand actions received during each of Fiscal Years 2010 on as compared to the total number of new court cases filed during those same years. Court remand actions are those that the court returns to the Appeals Council (AC) for further action. Note that cases may remain pending in federal court for months, or even years, before returning to the AC (so cases remanded from federal court each year are not necessarily the same cases filed in court that year).
