Metadata Updated: November 12, 2020

Estimates of the final amount and final disposition of materials generated in the Construction and Demolition waste stream measured in total mass of each material. Traditional C&D materials included are concrete, asphalt pavement, asphalt shingles, bricks and clay, metal, wood, and gypsum drywall. Non-traditional materials in this stream include cardboard, organics, carpet, glass, plastic, and fines. The estimates are based on generation amounts described in the EPA SMM Facts and Figures reports. The method used to estimate final disposition is called CDDpath.
