Published by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention | U.S. Department of Health & Human Services | Catalog Last Checked: July 07, 2026 at 12:08 PM | Dataset Last Updated: January 20, 2026
The WWI is a screening tool that uses nationally available datasets to summarize baseline characteristics about weather-related hazards and vulnerability at the census tract level for communities reliant on private wells. This dataset contains continental US census tracts for which no WWI was created due to less than 1 estimated person being on well water in the census tract.
