The CCWIS_Announcements Listserv is a public listserv anyone can join to receive updates on the implementation of the new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) regulations. Note: If you are already a member of the Child Welfare IT Managers Listserv you will already receive all messages related to the new CCWIS regulations and do not need to sign up for this new listserv.

To join the listserv, click the link Subscribe to CCWIS_Announcements, which will open an email addressed to listserv@list.nih.gov with the following fields included in the body of the email: Subscribe CCWIS_ANNOUNCEMENTS FirstName LastName

Complete your registration by substituting your first name for “FirstName” and your last name for “LastName” being sure to leave only a single space between each element. Below is an example of what a completed email should look like:

Subscribe CCWIS_Announcements Jane Doe

Upon sending the email, the listserv will respond with a confirmation link in a response email. Once that link is clicked, the request to subscribe will be processed.

Note: Do not include a subject, greeting, closing, or signature in the body of the message.

In order to unsubscribe from this listserv, do one of the following:

Click the link Unsubscribe from CCWIS_Announcements, which will open an email addressed to listserv@list.nih.gov with the following fields included in the body of the email: Unsubscribe CCWIS_ANNOUNCEMENTS. Complete the request to unsubscribe by sending the email. Below is an example of what a completed email should look like:

Unsubscribe CCWIS_Announcements

Upon sending the email, the listserv will respond with a response email stating that the request has been processed.

OR

Locate an email sent from the listserv. At the bottom of the email, the message “To unsubscribe from the CCWIS_ANNOUNCEMENTS list, click the following link” includes a link to unsubscribe from the listserv. To unsubscribe, click the link, which will navigate to the list.nih.gov

site. At the bottom of the page, there is an unsubscribe button.
