Capture-recapture data of Mohave ground squirrels, 1988-2021
We captured Mohave ground squirrels from four study sites in the Coso Range, California, between 1988 and 2021. This dataset includes capture and recapture records of squirrels at each site and individual and environmental variables associated with those records. We used these data in a mark-recapture analysis to estimate six demographic parameters of Mohave ground squirrels: survival, emigration, emigration fidelity, capture probability, recapture probability, and number of unmarked animals.
