Bureau of Land Management Data on Breeding Ecology and Behavioral Responses of Loons to Oilfield Development Activities in the Fish Creek Watershed, National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, 2016 and 2017
This dataset contains nesting and behavioral data of Pacific and Yellow-billed Loons collected in the Fish Creek Watershed of the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A) in 2016 and 2017. The data are provided in four packages for download organized by sampling site and year. The packages include tables with loon nest site characteristics, nest cameras, behavior during nesting and helicopter overflights, predators, nest survival and fate, and brood observations.
