BT station and environmental data were collected by non-NOAA vessels in1952 and 1962 throughout the Pacific Ocean. Data collected include thermocline depth, sea surface temperature, air temperature, surface salinity, ten-meter temperature, wind direction and speed, barometer reading, weather, cloud type and amount, sea condition, visibility, secchi depth, and forel scale. The BT data were submitted to NCEI and are accessible through their website (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/ ).
