Assessment of felled ‘ōhi‘a trees infected with Ceratocystis wilt of ‘ōhi‘a, Island of Hawai‘i 2017 - 2021
This data release includes metadata and tabular data that describes 10 ‘ōhi‘a trees that were felled and examined during this study. Each tree had been documented to have died from Ceratocystis lukuohia during 2014 - 2019. After felling, each tree was sectioned into bolts along the length of the tree, and each bolt examined for viable C. lukuohia and signs of active ambrosia beetle galleries. The work took place in 2021.
