An array of five bottom-moored Marine Autonomous Recording Units (MARUs) was deployed in Cape Cod Bay, MA, from February 17th through June 12th of 2019. The MARUs recorded data continuously for 116 days at a sampling rate of 2000 Hz with 16-bit resolution, and the audio was post-processed with a band-pass filter between 10 and 800 Hz. To time-align the recorded audio across the five units, distinctive acoustic signals were recorded synchronously at the start and end of the survey period. Upon recovery, the recordings from the five MARUs were extracted, aligned, and concatenated to form 5-channel 15-minute chronological sound files.
