Funds received by the State (1) P.A. 96-212 effective July 1, 1996 established the Connecticut Lottery Corporation to operate and manage the lottery. The fiscal years 1997 through 2011 lottery figures are from the Connecticut Lottery Corporation's audited financial statements (2) The above amounts exclude waging activity at the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos which operate under the auspices of the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. (3) Connecticut Jai Alai, Inc. (Milford Jai Alai) ceased operations December 12, 2001. (4) Plainfield Greyhound Park ceased live racing on May 14, 2005. (5) Shoreline Star Greyhound Park ceased live racing on October 10, 2005 and was acquired by Autotote Enterprises on April 5, 2006. Autotote Enterprises decided not to run live Racing. (6) Off-Track betting revenue is based on accrual basis starting in Fiscal Year 2012. In years prior to 2012, OTB revenue was based on cash basis. (7) Bristol branch closed on June 11, 2019 (8) Lottery numbers include Connecticut Lottery Corporations portion of Sports Wagering (9) ADW not included. ADW is not regulated by the State of Connecticut (10) Any number attributed to a gross sales from jai alai is a combined total for both Hartford and Milford (11) Any number attributed to a gross sales from greyhound racing is a combined total for both Bridgeport/Shoreline and Plainfield
