Access point angler surveys at Lower Otay Lake in San Diego County to determine trends pertaining to angler effort, catch rate, harvest rate, species composition, fishing pressure, angler preferences and angler demographics. All of this information is used to assist in fisheries management decisions for the lake. 2019-2021. Catch per hour (overall and individual species), target species composition, hours spent angling (overall and by species), method of angling by species (bait/lure/both), method of angling (boat/shore), annual catch totals (overall and by species), catch size distribution, harvest rate by species, fishing pressure (overall and by species), angler age and distance travelled demographics. This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000643.
