This project is in conjunction between the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and EPA. These files are a representation of land use change ranging from 1935 to 1994. This particular data set is for the year 1958. Definitions for key codes are as follows: Chatt_Creek.shp depicts Chattanooga Creek for the listed year ; Chatt_Creek_Trib.shp depicts tributaries flowing into Chattanooga Creek ; DK.shp depicts dark toned areas ; DK_LQ.shp depicts dark toned liquid areas ; DK_MT_LQ.shp depicts dark toned, medium toned, liquid areas ; EX.shp depicts excavation areas ; GS.shp depicts ground scars ; LQ.shp depict liquid areas ;
