Advancing eDNA Applications for Endangered Fishes: A Case Study of the Topeka Shiner (Notropis topeka)
This tabular dataset represents eDNA detection results for Topeka Shiners in Oxbows in Minnesota and Iowa. This dataset corresponds with the manuscript "Advancing eDNA Applications for Endangered Fishes: A Case Study of the Topeka Shiner (Notropis topeka)" submitted to North American Journal of Fisheries Management. In this study we describe a new eDNA marker for Topeka Shiner and then describe field validation efforts and a comparison of three different filtering methods for detecting Topkea Shiner eDNA.
