A total of five vibracores were collected at three sites, with approximate recovery lengths between 1.28 meters (m) to 2.47 m. Three of the vibracores were collected using an electric vibracorer and two were collected using a mechanical vibracorer. Sedimentologic data published in this data release includes descriptive core site information and composite core photographs, which can be utilized to study the geomorphic evolution of Lake Maggiore.
