Data to compile the list was gathered for each location (\u201csite\u201d) from information provided to DEEP to address the requirements of various regulatory cleanup programs. Sites may be in multiple cleanup programs and therefore may be listed more than once. Some sites have been fully cleaned up while others have limited information about the environmental conditions. The list includes only sites that have been reported to CT DEEP or US EPA.\n\nThere may be errors in the dataset although we strive to minimize them.
