Data were collected in Lindsey Slough on April 4 and April 18, 2017, and near the mouth of the Mokelumne River and in Middle River on March 14, 2018 by deploying a Sequoia Scientific Laser In-situ Scattering and Transmissometry instrument (LISST 100x) from a small vessel during the deployment of the hydrographic time series data instruments. At each site, data were collected 1 to 2 times, generally near the water surface, at mid depth, and near the sediment bed. These data were collected as part of a study on the effects of invasive aquatic vegetation on sediment transport in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Users are advised to check metadata and instrument information carefully for applicable time periods of specific data.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9112AIP", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5e4f488ee4b0ff554f70ccec.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5e4f488ee4b0ff554f70ccec", "keyword": ["CMHRP", "Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program", "Invasive Species", "Lindsey Slough", "Middle River", "Mokelumne River", "PCMSC", "Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center", "Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta", "Sediment transport", "Shallow-water habitat", "State of California", "Suspended-sediment concentration", "Tidal shallows", "U.S. Geological Survey", "USGS", "USGS:5e4f488ee4b0ff554f70ccec", "aquatic ecosystems", "field observation", "geoscientificInformation", "marine water quality", "physical oceanography", "seabed", "suspended material (water)", "water level measurements", "wave observations"], "modified": "2021-10-18T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-121.7089, 37.94614, -121.5289, 38.251", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Suspended particle size distribution data from three locations in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, California, 2017 to 2018"}
