Data collected from 50 x 20 m forest plots include post burn char height and scorch measurements for overstory trees and severity ratings for substrate and vegetation, tree inventory to obtain density and basal area, fuel load using Brown's method for inventorying surface fuels and biomass, seedling density, as well as cover point method along 50 m transects for estimating shrub, tree seedling, and herbaceous plant cover.
