"description": "<p dir=\"ltr\">This dataset contains RNA-seq and ATAC-seq data generated from CD14+ monocytes isolated from neonatal piglets inoculated with BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guérin) or PBS control. Blood was collected at 3 and 6 weeks post-inoculation. Monocytes were stimulated ex vivo with LPS, Pam3CSK4, or media alone. RNA-seq was performed using the Lexogen QuantSeq 3' mRNA-seq protocol on a NovaSeq 6000. ATAC-seq was performed on monocytes from the 6-week timepoint to assess chromatin accessibility. Data support investigation of epigenetic and transcriptional mechanisms of BCG-induced trained immunity in pigs. Raw sequencing data are deposited at NCBI SRA under BioProject PRJNA1472623.</p>",
