The resulting profile, named ML-2, images the near-surface geology underlying the Meadow Bank scarp, a roughly 10-km long northeast-oriented topographic anomaly with 6 meters of elevation change over 100 meters where ML-2 crosses the scarp. ML-2 was acquired using a landstreamer with 24 pairs of polarity-compatible 4.5 Hz horizontal geophones at 0.76-meter channel spacing. A 50-kilogram steel roller towed behind a truck and struck with a 1.36-kilogram hammer provided SH-wave energy.
