The goal of this study was to collect data useful for designing and siting downstream fish passage options at the dam. Under current operations, water is passed through the dam via a deep intake located on the reservoir floor (approximately 548 m upstream of the dam). Due to this sole route for water passage, hydroacoustic receivers were placed across the reservoir near the intake, and along the face of the dam to estimate the approach and residence time between the different locations. Receivers were also placed just downstream of two release locations to record fish movement downstream, as well as any potential upstream movement .
